Open your Excel spreadsheet that you wish to remove the Blanks Rows from. Press <ALT>-F11 to go to the Visual Basic editor. Create a new module. You can do this by selecting Module under the Insert menu.

Paste the following code into your new module:

Public Sub DeleteBlankRows()

Dim Row As Long

Application.ScreenUpdating = False
With ActiveSheet
For Row = .UsedRange.Row + .UsedRange.Rows.Count – 1 To .UsedRange.Row Step -1
If Application.CountA(.Rows(Row)) = 0 Then .Rows(Row).Delete
Next Row
End With
Application.ScreenUpdating = True

End Sub

Close the Visual Basic editor window by selecting “Close and Return to Microsoft Excel” under the File menu.

Now, go to the sheet that contains the Blank rows that you wish to delete.

Under the Tools menu, select Macro > Macros. Highlight the macro called “DeleteBlankRows” and click on the Run button.

If you need to remove hyperlinks from other sheets, just repeat the steps above.

This is my very first blog entry and I am still learning here about blogging. Because I have not done any blogging yet before from any other blogging sites. Honestly, I don’t know how and where to start, so  I am newbie here.
